Department of Marketing Management (Master Degree Program and on-the-job Master Degree Program)

Department of Marketing Management (MBA Program)

Strengths
The goals of this program are to cultivate students with professional knowledge and capabilities in marketing and international marketing management and to prepare students to work in marketing-related jobs in the retailing industry, convention and exhibition industry and tourism industry.
 Objectives & Curriculum 
The courses of the master program focuses on four areas: service marketing, industrial marketing, practical marketing management, and professional marketing. Industrial marketing  emphasizes on retailing, convention and exhibition, tourism and leisure. Marketing courses emphasize the “product” and “promotion” element of the 4P’s. We also offer courses related to languages and information technology applications. We encourage students to participate in consulting services and take both basic and advanced professional license examinations to strengthen their abilities. For practical courses, students are required to participate in academia and industry cooperation programs, business visits, and seminars about practical industrial issues, etc.
Opportunities after graduates
Advanced education: pursue the PhD program
Employment: public officials, mid- to high-level managerial position in the area of operation management, marketing and project planning and etc.

Department of Marketing Management (on-the-job MBA Program)

Strengths
We cultivate students with marketing talents and equip them with international managerial capabilities and make them well prepared for being the middle and high-level managers in the company.
 Objectives & Curriculum 
The service marketing and professional marketing courses of the on-the-job MBA program are similar to the MBA program. However, the industrial marketing and practical marketing management courses are designed according to students’ interests and specific industry sectors. We also offer courses related to languages and information technology applications. We encourage students to participate in consulting services and take both basic and advanced professional license examinations to strengthen their abilities. For practical courses, students are required to participate in academia and industry cooperation programs, business visits, and seminars about practical industrial issues, etc.

Facilities

Our department has “Integrated Marketing Communication Classroom”, “Convention Classroom” and “Exhibition Classroom”, equipped with various educational software such as BOSS system, SPSS, ABACUS, PHOTOSHOP, Travel Operating System, Marketing Winners, Virtual Business Retailing, VBR Retailing etc. We also have a “Smart Marketplace Simulation Platform and Exhibition Marketing Platform” system. These systems are set up to enhance students’ marketing communication skills and to allow students to run marketing exhibition simulation. Our department also has seminar rooms and master student study rooms, equipped with AMOS and AHP software for master students to use.
